Empty Bowls Class with Casey Bates

Casey Bates, the art teacher at South Warren High School is going to be hosting a two part ceramics class in January, for people who would like to help out with Empty Bowls. On the first night, participants will make two handmade ceramic bowls, and on the second night, the bowls will be decorated and glazed for the final firing. Casey is a wonderful teacher, full of creative energy and a talented artist. Everyone who attends her class will have two fun nights out, a beautiful bowl to keep, and a bowl that will help make sure that one of our friends and neighbors right here in Warren County will not have to face an empty bowl at meal time.
The two-part class is scheduled for January 17th and 24th from 6:00-7:30 pm. There is a $20 fee which must be paid in advance that covers the cost of clay, glaze, and firing. If you're interested in signing up, or for more information, contact Tammi Miller via email at [email protected] or by phone at (270) 779-1135.
