Make a Bowl!
If you would like to make and donate a bowl but are not yourself a potter, there are many options available that would allow you to make and donate bowls to Empty Bowls. These options cover three groups of people, who are described below. If you, or someone you know is also able to provide classes or resources for those wishing to make bowls for Empty Bowls, please contact us via our Contact page, and we will be sure to add them to the the list!

A College, Junior High, or High School Student
Talk to the art teacher or ceramics professor at your school. WKU has a wonderful ceramics program, and many of the area schools have ceramics for their art students as well. Even if you can't sign up for an art class right now, talk to your art teacher to see what other options are available.
Someone Who Wants To Make a Bowl from Scratch
We are fortunate to have potters working in the area who are teaching others, as well as making beautiful objects themselves. If you are interested in taking a class to learn how to make a bowl from clay, then you should talk to one of these potters.
