Make A Holiday Miracle Painting Party
St. James United Methodist Church invites the people of Warren County to join us at the Paint'n Place for a special "Make a Holiday Miracle" painting party. This two day event is being held to make bowls for the upcoming Empty Bowls fund-raiser. Each bowl that is made will be donated to the Empty Bowls, and will raise money to support the area food pantries Manna Mart, run by HOTEL INC and the Life Care Ministry run by University Church of Christ. This holiday season, 1 in 5 adults, and 1 in 4 children in Warren County don't know where their next meal is coming from. But if you can join us for one of these two fun holiday events, the bowl that you make will be transformed into food for someone here in our community who otherwise would go hungry—a holiday miracle. Please take a little time out of your holiday schedule and join us. Spend a few minutes in the company of friends and neighbors decorating a bowl that will bless others in our community.
If you can't make it to one of the two events that we have scheduled, we invite you to set up your own individual or group painting event. And to any groups or churches interested in helping out with Empty Bowls, we encourage you to set up similar events as well. Working together, we can end hunger — one bowl at a time.

There are two separate events which you can choose from:
Seating is limited, so to attend, you must sign up in advance. You may register either through the Contact page on our website, by sending email to [email protected], or by phone at (270) 843-4550.
Attendance is $12 and is due at the event.
After your bowl is finished, Paint'n Place will deliver it to Empty Bowls. All money raised by Empty Bowls is donated to the Manna Mart and Life Care Ministry food pantries.

- Sunday, December 13th from 3:15 - 5:00
